What's the difference between apprenticeships and traineeships?

    • Generally take between 36 to 48 months to completeÌýdepending on the qualification.
    • Are available in trade areas such as building and construction, commercial cookery, automotive, engineering, manufacturing and more.
  • Title
    Traineeships
    • Generally take between 12 and 24 months to completeÌýdepending on the qualification.
    • Are available in services areas such as business, retail, community health, childcare, hair and beauty, financial services and more.

Australian ¸Ø½»ÊÓƵships are competency-based, which means completion can occur at any stage as long as all parties agree that the required skills (competencies) have been achieved.
